Beef workers are in talks to protest the government’s ban on cattle slaughter in the country.
One of the most famous beef traders in the country has taken the lead in these discussions.
Large-scale beef suppliers as well as cattle traders are protesting.
Dairy farm owners have also stated that having to care for aging cattle until they die adds an additional cost to their industry as well as a loss.
In addition, they are of the opinion that if beef required for local consumption is imported, a large amount of money will be attracted abroad for that purpose.
Therefore, the government officials are scheduled to meet soon to discuss this matter.
