He further said, Officers on duty at our bus stands pay Rs. 100 in the morning. You pay only 100 rupees in the evening. When this amount is added the officials of the North Central Provincial Road Transport Authority are paid around Rs. 42 lakhs per month. Accordingly, you have paid Rs. 50 million a year as ransom to the officials of the North Central Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority.

You have to suffer, sweat and dream, buy a bus, get a permit and suffer under the pressure of the political authorities. After obtaining such a permit and obtaining a permit, the officials of the authority have to pay a ransom. So shouldn’t those who extort money from bus owners like this be punished? You have thus paid bribes to government officials who receive salaries ranging from 40,000 to 75,000 rupees
