Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s leading communications provider, has sponsored Dream Music Fest to provide an unforgettable experience for Sri Lankan music fans. The concert will be held on August 23 at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theater in Colombo from 5 pm and is considered to be the first concert in the country after Kovid-19 to be held in an open environment.

Audiences will have the rare opportunity to experience the performances of artists of various genres, as well as the unique creations of musicians and bands who combine their creative talents into a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western music. In addition, well-known DJs, musicians, and singers of all ages will be featured in the concert. Sunil Perera, Bathiya & Santhush, Randir Withana, Umara Sinhawansa, Kevinda Almeida, Kasun Kalhara, Atma Liyanage, Samitha Mudunkotuwa, Sanka Dineth, Sanuka Wickramasinghe, Lahiru Perera, Ridma Weerawardena and Dhanith Sri Owned for with Dialog.

Arrangements have been made to hold this concert following the health precautions recommended by the health sector. Accordingly, steps will be taken to obtain social ticketing by visiting www.myticket.lk to obtain tickets online and to keep the gates of the Lotus Pond premises open 2 hours before the start of the concert to reduce spectator congestion. The concert venue is thoroughly disinfected and body temperature is checked at the entrance to the auditorium. In addition, facilities for hand cleaning are also provided. With the approval of the Ministry of Health and the sponsorship of TV Derana, the Dream Music Fest with Dialog was organized by the Festival Management Organization.

Kovid – 19 After the global epidemic, the entertainment industry in Sri Lanka was adversely affected. The aim of Dream Music Fest with Dialog is to give a unique experience to the audience, marking the beginning of the revival of the entertainment industry and the performing arts in a re – emerging new Sri Lanka, giving a new impetus to the country’s declining entertainment and performing arts industry.
