Aravinda de Silva, the then chairman of the selection committee, is to be questioned over allegations that he betrayed the 2011 Cricket World Cup final.

The Special Police Unit for Misconduct is preparing to question Aravinda de Silva following an allegation made by the then Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.

Meanwhile, Mahindananda Aluthgamage says that the International Cricket Council has submitted several suspicious information regarding the betrayal in writing.

Mahindananda Aluthgamage recently said that Sri Lanka had lost the final match against India but a few days later a Sri Lanka Cricket chief bought a car dealership.
